Kent Reporter’s Player of the week is Seattle Thunderbird forward Justin Hickman, 17, from Kelowna, British Columbia.
Hickman got his start in the WHL with the Tunderbirds and has been with the team for two years.
This year Hickman has played in 29 games has 6 goals and 7 assist. Last year appeared in 46 games for the T-Birds this season and had two assists.
He missed the first 14 games of the season recovering from a broken hand. Hickman was a member of Hockey Canada’s Team Pacific that took part in the Under-17 World Championship in Winnipeg, Manitoba, from December 29 to January 4. He appeared in all six games Team Pacific played and had one assist with 16 penalty minutes.
