From the sidelines: This is Lucas’s 3rd year swimming for the Conks, and his first year as a team captain. Lucas works hard at practice and really challenges himself in competition. He leads by his example and work ethic. Already this season, at the halfway point, Lucas has already qualified for the District Championships in 4 of the 8 individual events (200 free, 200 individual medley, 100 butterfly, and 100 free) as well as a member of the 200 Medley Relay and 200 Free Relay. Lucas has the best attitude and even when he’s tired, he is always willing to take on one more swim to help the team.
