Randall Cooper’s commitment to Robert Morris University was a decision he knew would shape more than just his college football career, but the foundation for his future.
Cooper, a 5-foot-10 and 160-pound senior safety, has signed with the Colonials, members of the Northeast Conference of the Football Championship Subdivision. A two-year starter, he was a second-team All-South Puget Sound League selection last season.
“What I offer to the team is a hard-working attitude and 100 percent all the time,” Cooper wrote on his profile for NCSA Athletic Recruiting, a national network. “I am a leader on and off the field. I am passionate about football.”
Cooper excels in the classroom with a 3.35 GPA.
Cooper has been recognized as a member of the Black Student Union, DECA and Young Life. He plans to pursue a degree in business marketing and sports management at the private university in Pittsburgh.
