Quarterback Charles McCullum threw six touchdown passes and ran for another score to lead the Seattle Timberwolves to a 52-50 win over the Omaha Beef in a professional Indoor Football League game Friday night at the ShoWare Center in Kent.
The Timeberwolves led the Beef 31-23 at halftime.
In the second half, Seattle put up three more touchdowns and held off Omaha for the win. The Beef scored a touchdown with 23 seconds left in the game, but failed to score on a two-point conversion run that would have tied the game.
McCullum completed 15 of 27 passes for 214 yards. He rushed for 83 yards on eight carries. Andre Piper-Jordan had five receptions for 95 yards and two touchdowns. Maurice Young also had two touchdown catches.
The Timberwolves are 3-6 and in third place in the four-team Pacific Division. Omaha dropped to 5-4 in the Great Plains Division.
Seattle plays May 14 at the Wyoming Cavalry and May 21 at the Wenatchee Valley Venom. The Timberwolves return home May 27 against Wenatchee Valley.
