Left wing had 38 goals with Seattle last season
Seattle Thunderbirds general manager Russ Farwell announced Oct. 10 that left wing Greg Scott has rejoined the Thunderbirds from the Toronto Maple Leafs organization.
Scott, a 20-year-old, was signed by the Maple Leafs to a three-year, entry-level contract this past summer. He attended the Maple Leafs’ training camp before being assigned to the training camp of the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.
Scott will be entering his fourth season with the T- Birds this year. Last season he was second on the team in scoring with 38 goals and 37 assists for 75 points.
Scott will be available for all three T-Birds games this weekend. The T-Birds take on the Everett Silvertips on Friday, October 10, at Comcast Arena at Everett at 7:30 p.m. The team travels to Portland to face the Winter Hawks at 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, before rounding out the weekend at the Chilliwack Bruins at 5:05 p.m. on Sunday, October 12.
The T-Birds’ next home game is Saturday, October 18, at KeyArena against the Kelowna Rockets at 7:05 p.m.
T-Birds season tickets are currently on sale. Season tickets can be purchased by calling the T-Birds office at 253-239-7825. Purchasing a season ticket will ensure fans can attend the T-Birds first game in their new home, the Kent Events Center.
