The Vancouver Giants defeated the Seattle Thunderbirds 4-2 Sunday night at Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver.

Seattle (1-2-0-0) took a 1-0 lead at 14:13 of the first period. Charles Wells fed the puck to Colin Jacobs who carried it up the left side. In the left circle in the Vancouver Jacob looked to his right then put a quick shot on goal. Vancouver goalie Brendan Jensen got a piece of the puck but it snuck under his left pad for Jacobs second goal of the year.
