Brandon Mortenson passed for two touchdowns and Marques Fuala’au ran and threw for two more as Kentlake defeated Kent-Meridian 36-21 in an North Puget Sound League Cascade Division game at French Field on Friday night.
The Falcons improved to 2-0 in the division, 3-1 overall. The Royals dropped to 0-2 and 0-4.
Carson Lucas, Michael Alar and Alex Lopez each had scoring receptions. Tony Heimann II scored on a 6-yard run.
For Kent-Meridian, Isaac Cordova passed for two touchdowns, one to David Hadsell, the other to Nate Jones.
