Junior guard Taylor Jenkins scored 12 points and sophomore Morgan Gary added 11 as Kentridge shut down Emerald Ridge 52-14 in a West Central District 4A second-round playoff game Thursday night.
Kentridge (17-5) advances to play Bellarmine Prep in a winner-to-state, quarterfinal game at 6 p.m. Saturday at Auburn High School. Bellarmine Prep advanced with a 64-50 win over Tahoma.
Elsewhere
At Kentlake 53, Kent-Meridian 29: Sydney Peterson scored 16 points, Jada Leonard had 12 points and Aniston Denckla finished with 11 as the Falcons (18-4) routed the Royals (12-11).
Savannah Lackey led Kent-Meridian with 19 points.
The Falcons raced off to a 25-4 lead after the first quarter.
Kentlake (18-4), which has won 14 of its last 15 games, advances to play Puyallup in a winner-to-state game at 7:45 p.m. Saturday at Auburn High School.
The Royals play Timberline in an elimination game at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Mount Tahoma High School.
