Kentridge, led by Lauren Briggs, delivered a solid performance at the 4A West Central Districts Girls Swim & Dive meet at the Curtis High School Aquatic Center in University Place last Saturday.
Briggs finished fourth in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 55.38 seconds to advance to state.
Briggs joined Grace Gallagher, Jaden Keatts and Julia Seibel for a second-place effort in the 200 freestyle relay in 1:43.73. Cleary, Keatts, Gallagher and Briggs raced to third in the 400 free relay in 3:49.67.
Kentridge’s Elizabeth McKnight finished second in the 1-meter diving competition with a score of 328.80 17, and teammate Haley DePriest was sixth in the 500 free (5:37.46).
Kentridge finished fourth in the team chase.
The 4A state meet is Nov. 10-11 at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way.
