Division champions crowned at 10th annual ShoWare Shootout basketball tournament

A field of 102 teams in 14 divisions converged on the outdoor half-courts to settle bracket championships at the 10th annual ShoWare Shootout basketball tournament last Saturday and Sunday.

The event, presented by Republic Services, is one of South King County’s premier three-on-three basketball events and featured age divisions for men, women, boys and girls, seniors and wheelchair.

Teams competed on courts arranged throughout the west parking lot of the accesso ShoWare Center.

Team champions

5th grade boys – Platinum

6th grade boys – Kent Elite

7th grade boys – Hype Boys Isaiah Jones

8th grade boys – Wild Mountain Beavers

9th grade boys – Big Ballers

High school boys – Outlaws

Adult men division 1 – Breakfast Club

Adult men division 2 – Google Me

6th grade girls – HoopAholics

8th grade girls – Emilllion Buckets

High school girls – Shooters

Wheelchair – Biscuits

Family – BLOOSE

Adult women – Wolfpack
