Months removed from record-breaking winter and spring rain, the Puget Sound region is on another streak.
As of Thursday, the area has seen 39 consecutive days without any measurable rainfall at Sea-Tac, tying the sixth-longest dry spell set in 1997.
The record for consecutive dry days at Sea-Tac is 51 days.
Warm days – temperatures into the 70s and 80s – are forecast for the week ahead.
