Rosalie Y. Armstrong, passed away in Auburn, WA on January 9, 2018, after a brief illness. Born October 31, 1928, in Wapato, WA, she was 89 years old.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard C Armstrong, Sr., in 2001.
Dick and Rosalie had a wonderful life together, wintering in Rancho Mirage, CA. Rosalie was an avid golfer and at her best she achieved a handicap of 21. She also enjoyed flowers in the spring and was extraordinary at assembling jigsaw puzzles. But, most of all, Rosalie loved her family and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
She is survived by her son, Christopher (Danielle) McCain Sr, daughter, Pamela (Leslie) McCain and stepchildren, Mickie (John) Williams, Richard (Audry) Armstrong, Jr., Gayle (Jerome) Kroke, and Jim (Marissa) Armstrong, 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and sister Joyce (Larry) Souza.
Services will be held at Kent Lutheran Church, Friday, February 2, 2018 at 12:00 p.m., 336 2nd Ave. S., Kent, WA 98032. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Republican Party as she will be greatly missed by them!
