Robert Phil Hopkins of Kent, Washington was born on April 25, 1941 in North Platte, Nebraska.
Phil passed away on March 27, 2019. Phil is survived by his wife, Mary Ann, of 57 and a half years, two sons, Jeff (Denise) of Buckley, Washington, and Scott (Ginni) of Bonney Lake, Washington.
He is also survived by five grand children, Mackenzie (David), Cody (Billie), Jill (Zack), Nicole (Cody), and Ashley (William), and three great grandchildren, Ellie, Emma, and Oliver, and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond F. and Lola M. Hopkins and seven siblings.
Phil was employed by Tradewell, Inc for 17 years, and Lundsted for 15 years. He retired at the age of 57 in 1998. In addition, he was manager, with his wife Mary Ann, of the Colony Park Apartments for 27 years.
Phil loved the start up of Little League Football in South King County. He was commissioner of the Little League for 12 years. He was also a lifetime member of the Elks in North Platte, Nebraska, and a member of Aerie One Eagles in Seattle.
A memorial service was held on March 30, 2019 at 10:00 am at Marlatt Funeral Home, 713 Central Ave N, Kent, Washington.
Burial was at Hillcrest Burial Park, Kent,WA.
