MARIE AGNES PARKER
Marie Agnes Parker, 89, passed away from a stroke on June 12, 2009 in Renton, WA. She was born in Hazel, South Dakota on May 17, 1920 to Agnes and Lloyd Parker.She spent her life serving others. She was nurse, a teacher and a librarian and volunteered countless hours at the Catholic Church, American Legion (serving as a nurse during WWII) and the King County Blood Bank.She was survived by Sisters-in-laws Rita Parker and Betty Thomas, 32 nieces and nephews and their families and countless friends. Marie was a loving woman who was always strong in her beliefs and was a true woman of faith serving God and others in her community. All who knew her will continue to be blessed by her legacy. She will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. A mass celebrating of Marie’s life will take place June 19, 2009 at St. Stephens the Martyr Catholic Church.
