Lynn Roy Black
Lynn Roy Black of Moses Lake and a former long time resident of King County passed away peacefully on March 12, 2011, at his home surrounded by his wife La Leta (Lolli) and family members. Lynn was born in Orchard, Nebraska on September 5, 1939. His family moved to Kent when he was 2 years old. He was the first born son of Gerald L. Black and Zella Omey Black.He graduated from Renton High School in 1958. He worked for many years in the grocery and beverage business and was a proud member of the Teamsters. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, La Leta (Zugschwerdt) Black; mother, Zella Black, Kent, WA; son, Richard Black, Granite Falls, WA; son, David Black, Bothell, WA; stepson David McPherson, Auburn, WA; stepdaughter, Karren (Jon) Ricca, Puyallup, WA; stepson, Tim (Erica) Coble, Kirkland, WA; brother, Orin (Marcia) Black, Newark, DE; sister, Sharon Sabin, Renton, WA; brother, Lewis (Sherrie) Black, Tenio, WA; and a host of grandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins throughout the West Coast. Lynn had a great many interests, including cars, fishing, boating, gardening, and of course his five children and all of his 11 grandchildren, whom he loved dearly. A celebration of his life will be held on May 21, 2011 at 1:00 pm at his home in Moses Lake, WA. All of his family and friends are invited to help us celebrate and remember him in life.
