Linda M. Holloway, 73 of Renton, died September 26, 2017. She was born May 18, 1944 to George and Ruth Holloway in Seattle. Linda was raised in Kent.
She owned and operated her own seamstress business in Kent. Linda was a member of the Episcopalian Church and Odd Fellows. She was instrumental in getting the cities of Kent and Auburn to install ramps on corners so scooters and wheelchairs could have access to the sidewalks. Her activism lead to a nationwide movement.
She is survived by her sister, Mary Whitley of Enumclaw and Guardian Camille de la Torre (Tony) of Oracle, AZ. She is also survived by 1 niece, 1 nephew, 1 great niece and 1 great nephew. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charles Holloway.

A visitation will be held, Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service starting at 11:00 a.m. at Weeks’ Funeral Home in Buckley, WA with a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Burial Park in Kent, WA.
