Linda L Bondhus (Kilbourn), beloved and devoted wife, mother, and sister, was called home to our Lord on Sunday September 5, 2021.
Raised in Kent, Linda graduated from Kent-Meridian High School and received her AA degree from Highline College. She met Roger Bondhus, from Minnesota, while he was stationed at McChord Air Force Base, and were married on October 16th, 1971. For the first years of their marriage, they lived in several states before returning to WA and settling down in Enumclaw, where they have resided for over 30 years. Over the years, Linda held various
positions: Library assistant at the main Seattle Public Library; Nursing assistant first at Wesley Terrace, then at Highpoint; Director of Caravan Scouting Group at Auburn Nazarene Church; and Distribution Manager for the Courier-Herald of Enumclaw where she worked for many years, putting her strong leadership skills to good use.
Linda is survived by her husband Roger, who shared 50 years together, her children: Molly (Scott) Caskey, Debby Bondhus, and Jeff Bondhus; and her grandchildren: Kaylyn and Ian Caskey. She is also survived by sisters: Donna (Jim) Smith and Karen Allen (Larry) Hampton; as well as by brothers: Dennis (Martha) Kilbourn and Keith (Dixie) Kilbourn; along with numerous nieces and nephews who will all miss her warm smile and loving embrace.
