Kenneth Wayne Johnson was born October 10, 1931 in Huntington, Utah to Kenneth and Marie Johnson. He graduated from North Emory High School in Huntington, Utah in 1949 and from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah in 1959.
He served in the United States Navy for 4 years during the Korean War where he spent many months in Japan.
Upon returning home, he met and married Vivi Clausen in the Idaho Falls Temple on August 21, 1956.
Wayne and Vivi and their three children moved to Washington in November of 1960. He worked as an Industrial Engineer for Boeing and retired after working there for 30 years.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, Kenneth and Marie Johnson; his sister, Celia; his brother, Lewis; and his daughter Carolyn.
He is survived by: his wife, Vivi of 63 years; sons, Bryant (Sandra), and Brent (Jodi); daughters, Angela (Kert) Zavar, and Stacy (Mark) Olmstead; nine grandchildren (4 girls and 5 boys); and eleven (7 girls and 4 boys – soon to be twelve with another girl) great-grandchildren; brothers, Clark and Mike Johnson and brother-in-law, Michael Clausen.
He peacefully passed on November 27, 2019 in his home surrounded by his family.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 6th at 11am at the Maple Valley Stake Center 26800 SE 236th St.
