James A. Klobucher
Our beloved husband and father, Jim, passed away January 31, 2011 after suffering a fall the previous day. Born in Mpls., MN March 4, 1947, Jim moved to Seattle in 1971 after marrying his wife Nancy in 1970. Jim was a 1974 graduate of Seattle University who became best known in the Kent/Federal Way area as the friendly talkative owner/operator of 3 SUBWAY franchises. For his “retirement” in 2005 he began Jim’s Home Repair, his one man handyman business that showcased his many talents as a builder and repairman. Jim enjoyed golf, trips in his RV, participating in charity events and was active in Boy Scouts in his own youth and again with his son. Jim is survived by his wife of 40 years, Nancy, his son Patrick, daughter Angela, sister Joanne Hoyt of Loveland, CO and 3 nephews. A memorial open house will be held Sunday March 6, 2011 at Jim’s home, 1-4 PM. Remembrances suggested to Seattle King County Humane Society or Boy Scouts of America.
