Jack Evans
Jack Evans passed away peacefully on December 23, 2009 at the age of 67. Born in 1942 to John and Josephine Evans, he was raised in Billings, Montana. He graduated from Park County High in Livingston, Mt. He is survived by Judi, his wife of 46 years; children: Christine Fairchild (David), Carl (Jackie), and John Evans; grandchildren: Andrew, Alison and Elliot Fairchild; Katie and Keaton Evans, who adored their papa dearly. Mom, Josephine, sister Jan (Henry) brother Jerry Evans, niece Debbie Boyd and nephew Robbie Henry. Jack was best known for his zeal for life and his love for God. When asked, “how are you?” he always cheerfully replied with his engaging smile, “God is good to me”. In the early 80’s, Jack started a bible based volunteer ministry of informal worship and fellowship named Christ’s Church in Kent, Wa. He was a Leader in the Kent Jail Ministry for the last 23 years and was a member of the NPA Garden Club. Jack worked in Commercial Real Estate for more than 40 years, the last 18 years with First Western Properties in Tacoma, WA.Celebration of Life service will be 2 PM January 10, 2010 at the Senior Activity Center 600 E.
