Idonna Catherine Ewell

Idonna, age 90 went to be with the Lord, November 13, 2009 with her daughters by her side at Wesley Homes. She was born in York, Nebraska May 30, 1919 to Stanley William and Anna Catherine Lytle. She graduated in 1936. Idonna and her family moved to Buhl, Idaho in 1940. She married Kenneth H. Ewell December 6, 1941. Idonna was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother. Her children and grand children adored her. She loved gardening, yard work, cooking, baking, canning, going to church and reading the bible. Idonna had a heart of gold. She loved the outdoors and traveling. She never got old. Preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and husband of 50 years. One surviving brother Leonard Lytle of Arlee, MT. Her four children and their spouses. Daughter Patricia and Ray Orme Kent, WA. Son Jim and Shannon Ewell Davenport, WA. Son Bob and Brenda Ewell Spokane, WA. Daughter Cathy and Kent Hartley Las Vegas, NV. 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Please join us in a celebration of life at Kent United Methodist Church, 11010 SE 248th St. Kent, WA 98030 1 PM on Saturday November 28, 2009. In lieu of flowers, donations to Kent United Methodist Church or Wesley Homes, 1122 S. 216th St. Des Moines, WA 98198 for Idonna Ewell.
