In loving memory of our mother Diana “Dugon” Golden born in Jackson, Mississippi in December of 1939.
Daughter of Halbert Dugon and Alice Powell Dugon Peacefully passed away at Overlake Hospital in Bellevue,Washington on October 11, 2017.
She was survived by her sister Martha McMillian and her three children Courtney Rimbey Hjelmstad, Michael Rimbey and Christopher Rimbey As well as 5 grandchildren, Nicholas, Taylor, Christopher, Lucas and Amanda.
Diana graduated High School at Arlington Heights in Fort Worth, Texas. She studied at the University of Texas in Arlington enjoying Math Sciences and Astronomy.
Moving to the Pacific Northwest Diana found work at The Boeing Company where she met her late husband William Golden together they enjoyed flying, boating in the San Juan Islands, hunting and fishing, golfing and raising their family.
Diana also enjoyed exotic gardening,cooking and every Sci-fi novel she could get her hands on and dreamed of going to Mars one day.
A private memorial service will be held at her residence on October 28, 2017 at 2:00pm “For what better place than home to remember Diana’s expressions in life.”
The remembrance of this extraordinary kind hearted, selfless and giving person will forever live in our memories.
