Dennis Blansett
March 26, 1939 – March 25, 2015
On March 25th, the day before his 76th birthday, we lost our beloved Brother, Father, Husband, Uncle and Grandfather, Dennis Blansett.
Born in Gold Bar, Dennis graduated from Sultan High in 1957 and began his machinist career at Boeing. Not long after, he began teaching, first at Renton Technical College, Bellingham C.C, Green River C.C, retiring from Sno-Isle Tech in Everett. Later, he joined the Docufeed Co. where he continued to teach and do what he loved best: design, blacksmith, and machine precision parts for countless projects that came his way. He was always willing to share his help and knowledge with anyone. Dennis had a love of cars and car shows. In 2005 he established the Gold Bar car show. This years’ car show, July 25th, will be a tribute to Dennis and what he loved best.
Services will be Saturday, April 25th, 1:00pm at Valley Church of Nazarene, Startup, WA. Celebration of Dennis’ life to follow at Docufeed Technologies: 32533 Cascade View Drive, Sultan, WA.
Contributions to the Dennis Blansett Vocational Scholarship care of Sultan Education Foundation, P.O. Box 541, Sultan, WA. 98294 are welcome.
