Carol Louise Baush, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on March 22, 2017 in Kent, WA at the age of 87.
Carol is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Jack Baush, as well as her daughters, JoDean Baush of Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Karen Malcom of Petersburg, AK and son, Larry Baush and his wife Carol of Seattle. She is also survived by her niece Kris Corliss Oswald of Haleiwa, HI and Mike Corliss of Oroville, CA.
Carol was born in Bremerton, WA on December 14, 1929 to Dean and Mary Corliss. She attended Olympic College before marrying Jack on September 3, 1950. Carol worked part-time for Seattle Trust and Savings Bank (now Key Bank) for 24 years before retiring in 1986. After retirement, Carol was actively involved in the Safeco Classic at Meridian Valley Golf and Country Club, a LPGA tournament played from 1982 to 1999.
Carol enjoyed playing golf as an active member of the ladies division at Meridian Valley Golf and Country Club. She also played Mah Jong and bridge with fellow members at the club. Carol also snow skied and fished on Puget Sound.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents and brother Roy Corliss and his wife Helen of Novato, CA.
A memorial service will be held at Meridian Valley Golf and Country Club on April, 12th 2 – 6 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests that remembrances be made to the American Lake Veterans Golf Course (alvetsgolfcourse.com).
