Armand C. L. Santos
Armand C. L. Santos, 76, died Monday, January 24, 2011 at Evergreen Memorial Hospital of respiratory failure. The burial took place at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 4, 2011. A Memorial service followed at Crossroads Bible Church, Bellevue, WA. Armand was born July 15, 1934 to Armando Santos and Beatriz Agrella Santos in Manchester, NH, and raised by loving parents Armando and Mary Freitas Santos. The family moved to CA in 1946. He left school at 16 to become a tuna fisherman in San Diego. He joined the US Navy in 1955. Armand returned home, got his GED and Technical Certificate from Hayward High and worked for Ford Motor Co. In 1961 he moved to Seattle and worked as an independent sales representative for the aerospace industry. In 1975 he started his own business A.S.A. Armand enjoyed working with children and was active in coaching youth baseball and soccer. He was active with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Survived by children Dan & Christy Santos of Bellevue; Deanna & David Kelly of Redmond; Eric Santos of Temecula, CA; brother Gene & Chrissy Santos of Tracy, CA; sister Caicilia Trzepacz of Dyer, IN; many nieces, nephews, and godchildren. Armand was preceded in death by mother Beatriz Agrella Santos and loving parents Armando and Mary Freitas Santos. Remembrances can be shared at www.sunsethillsfuneralhome.com.
