To help kick off LGBTQ+ Pride month, Downtown Renton partnered with Renton LGBTQIA+ Community (Renton PRIDE) for a colorful and vibrant wine walk on Friday, June 2.

The Sip & Strut was one-part wine walk, one-part LGBTQ+ showcase, with the Renton Pavillion Event Center hosting booths from Renton PRIDE, Sustainable Renton, King County Library System, the Renton Police Department and United Christian Church, which presented the Drag Queen Story Time with local drag queen Kara Sutra.

The wine walk itself partnered local downtown businesses with different wineries like Viking Sewing & Vacuum with Cedar River Cellars, L.A. Frames with Klickitat Canyon Winery, Esme & Elodie with T2 Cellar, Ascendance Pole & Aerial Arts with Three of Cup, Urban Sprouts with EFESTE, Wyldwood Creative with Aluel Cellars, Sparkle Gifts & Whatnots with Naches Heights Vineyard, Macadons with Republic of Cider, Antiques 4U with Puget Sound Cider, Four Sisters Holistic Remedies with Contrivance Wine & Mead Co., Devil on Third with Drum Roll Wine and Premier Meat Pies with Michael Florentino.
