A 66-year-old Shoreline man died on Oct. 1 in a fatal motorcycle crash in Auburn.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the 66-year-old motorcyclist at about 2:14 p.m. struck a second vehicle after losing control on State Route 167, north of State Route 18. First responders declared him deceased at the scene.
According to the State Patrol, the motorcyclist struck the second vehicle after entering southbound State Route 167 from westbound State Route 18. His motorcycle arrived at a stop between lanes one and two of State Route 167. The second vehicle arrived at a stop on the left shoulder. The collision resulted in roadway blockages for approximately 3 hours and 16 minutes.
The driver of the vehicle was a 29-year-old Auburn man. He was not injured.
