Sept. 24

■ Vehicle pursuit: 12:28 a.m., officers attempted to stop a truck driver with a felony warrant. The vehicle fled and led an 8-mile pursuit with speeds reaching 100 mph. The pursuit ended when the suspect went into an apartment complex in Renton. The driver then moved to the passenger side and was taken into custody. The driver was DWLS-1. There was a gun located inside the truck and the suspect was a convicted felon. Vehicle was impounded and the suspect was booked.

Sept. 27

■ Stabbing: 5:36 p.m., patrol responded to Valley Medical Center in Renton regarding a victim who showed up with a significant stab wound. Officers were able to piece together that the victim went to the Country Glen Apartments, 27400 132nd Ave. SE., where he contacted a friend, as well as the suspect. The suspect (apparent mental health issues) was behaving erratically and was confrontational with the victim. Ultimately, the suspect grabbed a butcher knife and stabbed the victim one time in the chest. The victim’s girlfriend transported him to Valley Medical. PA announcements were made, the suspect came out of the unit, approached officers with his hands in his pockets and was nonresponsive to commands. He was tased, which was ineffective, at which time officers went hands on with the assistance of K9 Kane; he was then taken into custody without further incident.

Sept. 28

■ 3-car crash: 5:49 p.m., officers were called out due to a three car, serious injury collision in the 21700 block of 64th Avenue S. Unit 1, driven by a 49-year-old male was reported to have been weaving in and out of cars speeding north on 64th when he collided with the rear end of unit 2. Due to the speed and angle, both vehicles were pushed into oncoming traffic where unit 2 was struck head on by a third vehicle. The driver of the third vehicle suffered a broken leg and/or ankle, and the driver of unit 2 was also transported to the hospital. The driver of unit 1 admitted to having taken several medications earlier in the day as well as having smoked marijuana previously. A search warrant for his blood was obtained.

Oct. 1

■ Shots fired: 7:42 p.m., officers were dispatched to a shooting at a home in the 22200 block of 94th Avenue S. The suspect fired at two victims over a dispute. A car was struck, and one victim had a minor wound. The victims were uncooperative and refused to identify the suspect.

Oct. 3

■ Street racers: 9:21 p.m., officers responded to large group of racers in a parking lot at South 182nd Street and 80th Avenue South. Vehicles start to flee. Officer turned on his overhead emergency lights and attempted to pull head on to a fleeing car to get it to stop and the vehicles collided. The vehicle continued to flee. After a short pursuit, the vehicle stopped. A 17-year-old was arrested and released to a parent.

Oct. 4

■ Burglary: 12:40 a.m., residents heard noise in the downstairs of their house (which is separate rented unit). They looked out and saw three males leaving, and they had head lamps on. While en route, officers saw a black Dodge Charger in a nearby lot that took off when the suspects saw the patrol cars. The house window had been smashed out. The suspect vehicle was stopped, and an 18-year-old was patted down for weapons and had a handgun on his person. He is a convicted felon. The car had black tape over several bullet holes, and a ski mask and what appeared to be stolen items were in the car. The car also may have been wanted in an Auburn shooting case. The suspect was booked.

Oct. 6

■ Fight: 12:20 a.m., officers responded to a fight in the 24000 block of 104th Avenue SE. A witness reported seeing one man seriously injure another man during a fight. The victim did not remember anything about the assault, but the witness provided a statement saying they thought the victim was going to be killed. The suspect was arrested for Assault-2 and booked into King County Jail. Officers were worried about “positional asphyxiation,” as the suspect continued to thrash around in the back seat. On the way, the suspect stopped responding to their questions and appeared unconscious. Officers stopped and requested fire department medics assistance. The suspect was fine.

■ Sexual assault: 10 p.m., a female victim met a male in the street. They purchased alcohol and went back to her apartment where they continued to drink. At some point, the male sexually assaulted the female. The female fled the apartment naked, yelling for help. A neighbor took her in and called 911. The suspect was gone when officers arrived. Evidence was collected inside victim’s apartment.

Oct. 7

■ Occupied stolen vehicle: 6:14 p.m., an Auburn detective was at the Sonic Drive-In and located an occupied stolen vehicle. When police arrived, the vehicle fled. Two subjects associated with the vehicle were confronted. One fled and was caught. The second subject resisted arrest and two officers were slightly injured. The suspect had a gun. The suspect had prior domestic violence conviction w/firearms restrictions. The suspect was booked on weapons charges.

Oct. 12

■ Mother assaulted: 1:06 a.m., officers responded to a physical domestic in the 11700 block of SE 225th Street. A man was assaulting his mother and sister. The sister was the reporting party and she said the mom had facial injuries. The call quickly escalated as mom and sister hid themselves in a bedroom, but the male began breaking down the door. The 911 call receiver heard screaming as the male entered the room. Officers also heard the screaming when they approached the front door. They forced entry just in time to find the mom covered in blood and running up the stairs to them. Officers arrested the suspect and obtained a recorded confession. The mother suffered injuries to her head, ribs and shoulder. She was taken to Valley Medical Center and the suspect was sent to jail for Assault-2.
