DATE/TIME: January 5 , 2009, 7 a.m.

DESCRIPTION: Interstate 90 Snoqualmie Pass remains closed due to avalanche danger. The westbound closure point has now been moved to milepost 106 near Ellensburg. The eastbound closure point remains at milepost 34 near North Bend. WSDOT avalanche and maintenance crews will be assessing conditions this morning.

LOCATION: I-90 from milepost 34 near North Bend to milepost 106 near Ellensburg.

OTHER: Due to the weather related nature of this closure an estimated end time is not known. Updates will be provided as details become available
