An exhibit about the 1962 World’s Fair in Seattle opens Saturday, April 21 at the Kent Historical Museum, 855 E. Smith St.
Highlights of the exhibit will include memorabilia, artwork, souvenirs and a collection of items from opening day plus fashions and furniture of the 1960s. The exhibit will run through July.
Guests are invited to come learn about the impact the World’s Fair had on Kent and all the surrounding communities of Seattle.
The museum is open from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Admission is a suggested donation of $2. Parking is available behind the museum off East Temperance Street.
