Hundreds of women attended the first anniversary celebration of GLOW, the Valley Medical Center’s health and wellness program created by women, for women, on Sept. 22 at the ShoWare Center in Kent.
Author Christine Cashen, who lives in Dallas, Texas, and is a creativity expert, wife, mom and humorist, was the keynote speaker. She talked about blending life, love, happiness and humor.
The health fair also included live entertainment, dinner, door prizes, giveaways and exclusive free GLOW tote bags for all guests. The event also included a dinner. The cost was $20 per ticket.
GLOW started last year with its opening event at the ShoWare Center.
There is no charge to sign up for the wellness program through Renton’s Valley Medical Center.
