The King County Medical Examiner’s Office this week released the name of the Kent woman who died earlier this month in a mobile home fire.
Rosa Hilda Ortega-Hernandez, 73, died from smoke inhalation, according to a Jan. 23 phone interview with the King County Medical Examiner’s Office. The office was not yet ready to release the name of the man who died in the same fire on Jan. 6 at the Circle K Mobile Home Park in the 800 block of West Valley Highway.
Initial reports from Puget Sound Fire said that the man and woman were husband and wife and that the man died trying to rescue his wife. The fire broke out about 8:26 a.m.

A investigator has not released any information about the cause of the fire, said Puget Sound Fire spokesperson Joe Root in an email.
