Local vendors and support organizations converged at the Kent Senior Center on Saturday for the Wiggles, Wags, N’ Whiskers Pet Event.
Girl Scout Troop 44180 and M&M’s Critter Cottage hosted the event to raise money and awareness for Regional Animal Services of King County (RASKC) and the cottage to support efforts to care for the medical needs of animals brought in for care before they can be placed for adoption.
The event served as the troop’s silver project through educating the public about animal rescue organizations and animal resources available in the community as well as an information table with handouts related to animal topics.
The event also included food, a raffle, and a pet contest sponsored by M&M’s Critter Cottage to raise money for the organizations.
