Voter registration deadline Jan. 15 for Special Election

Residents who want to vote in the Feb. 13 special election have until Monday, Jan. 15 to register to vote or update voter registration information online or by mail.

Please note that January 15 is a federal holiday and the King County Elections office and the King County Elections Annex will be closed.

The Kent School District has two levies on the Feb. 13 ballot.

King County Elections will mail special election ballots to registered voters on Jan. 24, so it’s important that residents register to vote and keep their address and other information, including their signature, updated.

Voters can check to make sure their registration information is current by going online to Using My Voter Information.

• A citizen of the United States

• A legal resident of Washington state
