Volunteers are wanted to help put the finishing touches on the new playground being installed at Lake Meridian Park in Kent.
Crews are needed to help spread the Fibar safety chips under the play equipment. The work party is at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 25.
Anyone who wants to help is asked to call the city of Kent Parks Department at 253-856-5110.
City officials will dedicate the new playground during the annual Fourth of July Splash at the park.
