Volunteers are wanted to help the city of Kent with the annual Releaf at Clark Lake Park project.
Crews will remove invasive weeds, plant native trees and shrubs and prune the trail.
The event goes from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 8 at the park along Southeast 240th Street. Parking is available for the workday at Eastridge Baptist Church, 12520 S.E. 240th St., across from the park entrance.
Wear work gloves and sturdy shoes or boots (no sandals or flip-flops allowed) and bring a shovel or pruners/loppers if you have them.
Registration deadline is Oct. 5.
