A vehicle struck a power pole in Kent at about 5:30 a.m. Thursday and caused traffic backups along South 212th Street, just east of Highway 167.
The downhill, westbound vehicle rolled over but there were no serious injuries, according to Kent Police. Puget Sound Energy crews had to replace the pole damaged by the vehicle.
Police established a detour around the damaged pole until crews replaced the pole by late morning.
