Detectives with the King County Sheriff’s Office Major Accident Response and Reconstruction unit have identified a vehicle of interest in the July 18 fatal hit and run that killed Greg Moore, a 53-year-old Maple Valley father, son and husband.
Using headlight fragments, along with surveillance and other evidence, investigators are seeking information on any gray 2001 to 2006, or similar model year, Toyota Camry with headlight and/or hood damage.
Detectives believe this Camry may have been traveling with another vehicle, around 6:15 a.m., in the vicinity of the 22700 block of SE 216th Way near Maple Valley. Moore was out on a Sunday jog and discovered dead along the roadside.
Anyone with tips are asked to call the King County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency number (206-296-3311) and reference case C21022337.
