An unconscious girl was pulled from Lake Meridian in Kent on Saturday evening.
The preteen girl was playing on the Lake Meridian Park beach when she went underwater, said Kent Fire Department spokesman Capt. Kyle Ohashi.
Other park-goers pulled her out about 7:30 p.m. and began performing CPR, he said.
Firefighters and paramedics arrived and also provided further treatment.
The girl’s condition is unknown at this time.
Ohashi said the incident appears to have been an accident.
