Two men are expected to survive after exchanging gunfire Nov. 7 in the 26100 block of 78th Avenue South in unincorporated Kent.
It was an altercation between a 29-year-old Pacific man and a 30-year-old Covington man, according to King County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Ryan Abbott.
The shootout occurred at about 9 a.m. on Nov. 7. They were each struck by gunfire multiple times. Paramedics transported both men in critical condition to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The Sheriff’s Office has not released any information about what led up to the shooting. There are no other suspects in the case.
“The only update they (detectives) provided (Tuesday) was that both people are alive and so far are expecting to survive,” Abbott said in an email.
Abbott said there was no other information about the case to release.
