Patricia Galvez of Kentridge High School and Kyle A. Woo of Kentlake High were named Sept. 14 as semifinalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program.
About 16,000 students nationwide were notified that they are semifinalists for merit scholarships.
National Merit program officials will notify semifinalists in February if they have advanced to finalist standing.
