Two Kent men were among the four injured in an early Thursday morning single-car accident along northbound Interstate 5 near Southcenter.
The driver, a 20-year-old Burien woman, failed to negotiate a curve near the Southcenter exit. The 1996 Mercedes sedan left the roadway and hit a tree at about 2:03 a.m., according to a State Patrol accident report. Drugs or alcohol were involved and the cause of the accident and potential charges are pending.
Paramedics transported the driver and three passengers to Valley Medical Center in Renton. The four were each treated and released by 10 a.m. Thursday, according to a hospital spokesman.
All four were wearing seat belts. The crash totaled the Mercedes.
The passengers included a 22-year-old Kent man; a 20-year-old Kent man; and a 22-year-old Auburn man.
