The Washington State Patrol arrested a Kent woman for investigation of drive-by shooting after she reportedly fired shots at another vehicle during a road rage incident Oct. 6 along eastbound State Route 18 near Southeast 304th Street.
At about 10:30 a.m., an individual called 911 saying that they were shot at, according to the State Patrol. Witnesses said a blue Dodge pickup and a sedan were being driven in an aggressive and reckless manner.
The sedan followed the truck for a few miles through the Kent/Auburn area at which time the victim of the shooting stopped following and went to work. The State Patrol said at this point that person is not being cooperative with troopers.
With the assistance of witnesses, troopers located the Dodge pickup and took the driver, a Kent woman, into custody. The State Patrol did not release the age of the woman. Troopers found a revolver in the vehicle.
Detectives are seeking additional witnesses. Contact Russ Haake at Russ.Haake@wsp.wa.gov.
