The Seattle Thunderbirds will play before a sold-out crowd of 6,113 at their ShoWare Center debut Saturday night in Kent.

The Western Hockey League team sold its final tickets Tuesday for the 7:05 p.m. game against the Everett Silvertips.

Fans from all over the Greater Puget Sound area bought tickets.

Tickets for remaining games are available online at www.seattlethunderbirds.com or www.showarecenter.com. Tickets also are available at the ShoWare Center box office near the front entrance of the arena from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The box office also opens three hours before games.

The $84.5 million ShoWare Center, located at 625 W. James St., is the new home of the Thunderbirds. The city has a 30-year lease with the Thunderbirds. The team opted to pull up the stakes at its previous home ice at Seattle’s KeyArena to roost in Kent.

Ticket prices are $22 for most seats or $16 for adults and $12 for children in the arena’s “family zone,” where no alcohol is allowed. A limited number of club seats are available for $40. The club seats include access to the club lounge.

The team will play 25 games this season in Kent.
