A 17-year-old boy was shot at close range outside a McDonald’s on Kent’s East Hill Friday night, Kent Police reported.
The shooting occurred around 7 p.m. in the parking lot outside the restaurant on Southeast 256th Street.
The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the chest.
According to police, a dispute between two groups ensued before the teen was shot.
Police are looking for the shooter who fled the scene.
