The license of a Kent radiologic technologist has been suspended by the state Department of Health.
DOH suspended Jang Bahadur Singh’s license on Aug. 29, according to a Sept. 3 news release by the Department of Health. Singh cannot practice pending the outcome of a hearing. He has 20 days to answer the charges and the right to request a hearing.
According to health department documents, Singh allegedly rubbed a girl’s bottom while positioning her for a shoulder X-ray on April 22, 2005.
Singh also is accused of touching the breast and crotch of a second girl during an X-ray of her foot on July 12, 2008.
DOH accuses Singh of unprofessional conduct and sexual misconduct in connection with the two cases.
The release and documents did not disclose where the alleged incidents occurred.
Singh presents “an immediate danger to the public health, safety and welfare” if he continues to have a license, according to the findings issued by John F. Kuntz, a state health law judge.
