T-birds plan Kent match

The T-Birds’ only home exhibition game of the preseason will be Sept. 13, at Kent Valley Ice Centre against the Portland Winter Hawks. Game time is 6 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased by calling the T-Birds at 206-448-PUCK, at any Ticketmaster outlet or at Kent Valley Ice Centre.

T-Birds season tickets also are currently on sale. Season tickets can be purchased by calling the T- Birds office at 425-869-7825. Purchasing a season ticket will ensure fans can attend both the home opener at the KeyArena on October 4 and the T-Birds first game in their new home, the Kent Events Center.

The T-Birds 32nd and final home opener at Seattle Center will be Oct. 4 against the defending WHL and Memorial Cup Champions, the Spokane Chiefs, at 7:05 p.m. at KeyArena. The T-Birds will play eight games at KeyArena this season

Single game ticket prices for the 2008-09 season are $22 and $16. The T-Birds will have a $12 kids ticket for kids 12-years-old and under.

The T-Birds will play eight games at KeyArena this season. Single game tickets for these eight games go on sale on Wednesday, September 3. Single game tickets for the teams’ remaining 28 games in Kent will go on sale at a later date this fall.
