Students’ artwork on display at downtown Kent businesses

Artwork created by students in the Kent School District is on display through Friday, March 25, at various businesses in downtown Kent.

Artwork created by students in the Kent School District is on display through Friday, March 25, at various businesses in downtown Kent.

The 22nd annual Spring into Art event, which coincides with National Youth Art Month, is presented by the City of Kent Arts Commission, the Kent Downtown Partnership, Kent Station and the school district.

There was a reception to recognize the young artists and their families on Thursday evening at the Centennial Center Gallery in conjunction with the Kent Third Thursday Art Walk, a monthly event to showcase work by local artists and promote downtown businesses.
