Soroptimist International of Kent recently donated $4,150 to the Genesis Project, a program that offers hope for a new life to young women and girls involved in domestic minor sex trafficking in the South King County area.

Police, along with the help of many congregations, launched the drop-in shelter to help prostitutes in SeaTac. With further support, the project hopes to grow and expands its services, including counseling, basic needs, education and rehabilitation.
The Genesis Project, a non-profit organization, operates through donations from individuals, churches and businesses.
