Soroptimist International of Kent recently honored individuals and organizations at its awards luncheon, Empowering Women and Girls, at the Golden Steer Steak and Rib House.
The Soroptimists awarded a total of $6,000 to the King County Sexual Assault Resource Center, Dawn Abuse Women’s Network, Washington Women’s Employment and Education, Kent Youth and Family Services, YWCA Camp for Kids, and to winners of the Soroptimists’ Women’s Opportunity Award program.
Soroptimist International of Kent is a nonprofit organization devoted to improving the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment.
